MEET OUR VOLUNTEER FAMILY:

SBWR is an all-volunteer organization, with no paid staff. All of our volunteers are important to the successful workings of our organization, whether they give us many hours a day or one hour every few months. This photo shows a small part of our group.

Ann Lynch,  Founder & Director, plus Christina Jones, Assistant Director and Jen Enoch, Associative Director,  share intakes, answer phone calls, and are responsible for care and treatment of the raptors and songbirds.

Karin West, is the Ranch Manager and monitors the care, feeding and release of the raptors at “the Ranch”, where raptors are conditioned for release.

Melissa Loebl, helps with presentations and events. She also has a blog about “cool animal facts”. Visit Melissa’s blog here

Stacey Patterson  is our resident falconer who helps at some of our events and helps “groom” our education raptors..

Mary Jane Sesto, photographer, donates many of her outstanding wildlife photos for sales at events  Visit our shop page for more information.

Not shown but no less important:

Steve and Cathi Shultz, owners of “the Ranch”.  Steve is the designer and builder of all of our large enclosures and our in-progress center.

Dr. Theresa Micco, our hummingbird specialist who cares for hundreds of hummers yearly.

Also not shown are the MANY volunteers who help to feed animals at the ranch, drive, build, repair, help at events, clean enclosures, release birds, and so many other jobs, without which we could not operate.

South Bay Wildlife Rehab is lucky to have an incredible family of volunteers, education birds and partner organizations!
